Thanks. What was cool today is that it was my lungs that limited my running, not the sort of ache or burn in my leg muscles which has been holding me back ever since I started doing this regularly again. Maybe I turned a corner.

Hmmm, sounds like your getting in decent aerobic time (nice move up in the mile time by the way :D). Not so sure why the scale is not moving much for you. Are you still keeping track of what your eating and its total cal intake? Hows the overall stress level of life? What about meds? Anything you taking have weight retention/gain side effects?

Eating is not completely atrocious but it isn't in "lockdown" mode either. I take fenofexadine and lisinopril daily. These holidays have been crap for exercising although on almost all days I take the hounds for a walk for about 30 min. Stress level, same as always, work can be depressing and stressful as we gear up for more layoffs, home life is good though, game group and friends are good. I feel active and social. Not bad overall in the stress department. It's likely just crapping eating habits.

Yeah, eating habits are the worst to break. I try to keep sweets out of the house but my mother in law keeps shipping them to me. Same problem with meals. I try and eat less more often but it seldom works out. Have you tried looking at your total cal intake to see where you stand vs. what your chart say you should be eating?

Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor, you being treated for Hypertension? I looked up the side effects, nothing that should cause weight retention or gain (unless your having an accute allergic reaction in which case that would be the least of your problems).

Did not find much on fenofexadine but then with what its used for I would not expect any weight problems with it. If you were on something like Prednesone or another steroid it would be more likely.

Yea, Lisinopril for HBP. Fenofexadine is generic for Allegra for vasomotor rhinitis.

I should get more analytical with my diet rather than just keep winging it.

Good job. I haven't seen b-ball listed for a while. Did that end, or just on hold for the holidays?

I messed up my shoulder in the autumn and it still isn't right. I've been trying to rest it since it gets such a workout in bball and there have been several weeks where the school wasn't open. I either just go back and play with the pain or get off my butt to the doctor's to start rehabbing it or get it xrayed.

Right now I'm fighting a battle with my teeth, trying to get them settled down and stop having dental visits every month. Nov/Dec was a lot of pain and then a root canal, then a crown on #2. I changed dentists in the middle of it and the new dentist found old filling that are starting to leave gaps and the start of cavities, so I'm getting one of those replaced next week. I'm hoping thats it for awhile...
