How is your overall work group doing? Are you getting any addition motivation from doing the group thing? Are you going to continue with the program passed next week?

Couple of us mentioned continuing, maybe another ten weeks.

Yea, it has been a motivator. More reinforcement that I'm not in this alone. And I run with two of them most days now.

The whole group (5 men) has lost 50 pounds so far, after 4 weeks. I'm dragging the average down, the other four are averaging about 5% weight lost so far.

Well, Big Loser ended on Monday and I was pleased to have dropped ~13 pounds. I was still the slowest loser in our group, but I'm hoping slow and steady wins the race and all that chazarai.

I'm going to talk to the other guys about continuing with the Monday weigh-ins. Trying to keep myself motivated. I haven't dove off the wagon exactly, but my trip to virginia yesterday wasn't the best: high fat/calorie snack on 6:15am flight out when I usually don't eat until lunch ( ); salad ( :D ) and slice of za ( :o ) for lunch; spinach stromboli for dinner at airport along with two cookies ( :( ); healthy meal at home around 7pm with Vickie (healthy but extra calories).

But my attitude is still good. Avoiding the "oh well I screwed up I might as well go whole hog" trap. Feeling half-sick today (working from home) due to v. long day yesterday. Might have to walk my two miles just to get something in...

13 pounds in 5-6 weeks is nothing to sneeze at. Good job.

Actually I'm told that is what a 'good safe average is' about 2lbs a week. Thats the kind of weight you can keep off. Nice job.

You're doing great. Congratulation!
